This exceptional 18k bicolor French pendant watch is suspended by a graduated banner, elaborately decorated by a Bowl of Hygieia centered between two twinkling rose-cut diamonds. This banner attaches to a small 1 9/16" brooch that displays the same theme. The cover of the watch is elaborately hand engraved, depicting a wreath with triple looped bow, draped in a floral swag. Although the pendant watch is pristine it will need to be serviced. C 1915-1920.

The dial has black Roman indices and is equipped with the Breguet style hands. The case is polished platinum (the cover is stamped inside with a platinum mark). A monogram decorates the back of the case with the initials G M W. The movement is fully marked with the Patek Philippe maker’s mark, a serial number and a place of origin (Geneve). The case was made by American Watch Company and it is stamped inside A. W. C. CO., platinum, 204954.

Dial: The white enamel dial signed Fernando Wehrle Barcelona with Arabic numerals and outer minute track and subsidiary seconds dial at six o'clock. The original rose coloured Louis XVI style filigree hands with rose coloured seconds hand complementing the rose gold attachments on the silver case.
Case: the beautiful Silver case with rose gold attachments to the case, the hinges, the repeat slider the winder and the hand set. The back of the case is engine turned with an entwined monogram reading JS. The inner cover is plain. The cases are all numbered and Swiss hallmarked.
Movement: The pristine keyless lever movement which is covered by a mineral glass has a three quarter plate style movement fully jewelled to the centre arbor with screwed in chatons, compensation balance and Breguet overcoil hairspring The watch works perfectly and chimes the hours quarters and minutes very clearly.
