For Benson Landes, sculpture was most definitely a passion. His oeuvre of cast bronzes is populated with ‘off duty’ ballet dancers, rather wistful women, often caught in moments of solitary repose. Such an obvious appreciation of the grace and elegance of the female form was, no doubt, heightened by 25 years spent in the couture business, which Benson entered at the age of 14. The sculptor admitted that his time as an apprentice at his father’s clothing workroom and factory was given rather reluctantly, as he always harbored desires to become an artist. The young boy’s sense of responsibility was clearly equal to his creativity, though, as Benson knuckled down and learned the family trade.
At the age of 18, however, a 2 year conscription to the RAF provided one of the few opportunities for Benson to experience artistic freedom. The possibilities of otherwise unobtainable materials such as pastels, paper, perspex and plaster of paris fuelled his ingenuity at the base’s well-stocked workshop.
On completion of his RAF service, Benson briefly returned to the clothing factory...

They are exhibited in Parisian salons such as the Salon d'automne3, the Salon des artistes français, the Salon des Independants the exhibitions of the National Society of Fine Arts, the Salon de l'école française [ref. necessary].
He received the Arts-Sciences-Lettresn 1 Medal and is a member of the International Association of Visual Arts (affiliated with UNESCO).
In addition, he produced a series of medals and sculptures for the Monnaie de Paris, and various achievements such as the bust of Dr. Coll Colomé, a monument erected in Benicarlo (Spain) and publishing covers including the novel by Jean-Marc Roberts Vincent's friend.
The work of Jorge Borrás is a tribute to the woman [ref. necessary]. Her favorite themes are ballerinas and bathers as well as women in everyday attitudes. Wild animals, some endangered, are also very present in the work of Jorge Borrás, especially in recent years where he takes great pleasure in capturing the wild moment of his attitudes.
Passionate about drawing, he began painting at the age of ten and made his first exhibition at the age of twenty.

With this exhibition we honour James Coignard, showing some of his last carborundum engravings and paintings as well as presenting the book “L’œuvre gravé de James Coignard” volume VI. In this edition, we have gathered together all the engravings that James Coignard produced between June 2005 and his decease, on 7 March 2008. Behind him he left many fond memories and a life’s work as a great artist.
James Coignard’s principal modes of expression were oil on canvas and gravure au carborundum, but also in bronze and glass sculptures as well as in ceramics. His work has been shown on more than 400 exhibitions, primarily in Central Europe and Scandinavia, but also in Canada and the USA. His first Swedish exhibition was at Malmö Museum in 1956. The early 1970s saw the start of a long-term liaison with Galleri Östermalm in Stockholm, owned by Editions Sonet. Prodanchuk Viktor Pavlovych was born on February 4, 1975 in the small town of Dunaievtsi, Khmelnytskyi region in a family of the artist, school teacher of history and nurse. In the childhood Viktor often was in the Cossack valley where there lived the grandmother of maternal grandmother Rafaila Voitivna who told about the cruel Cossack fights of Khmelnytskyi times which occurred in the Cossack valley. It has influenced on the further formation of national consciousness.
Repeatedly participated in the Olympic Games in history and geography, taking prizes. The father Pavlo Prodanchuk being a school art teacher, has imparted to Viktor love to art that has affected the future of the boy.
In 1990 he entered the Kosvivskyi college of decorative and applied art on the specialty of metal art. During one of excursion trips to Lviv, Lev's city so impressed Viktor that he decided further to combine the life with the capital of the Western Ukraine.
In 1995 he entered the Lviv Academy of Arts and obtained the graphic designer's phases. During tuition at Academy of arts he joined to the restoration of Uspenskyi, Zlatoverkhyi cathedrals, Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and church of the Nativity on the Podol where read the burial songs over Taras...
