No Limits #1, a Pink, Peach & White Glass Sculpture by Maria Bang Espersen
By Maria Bang Espersen
Located in London, GB
‘No Limits #1' is a unique glass sculpture by the Danish artist, Maria Bang Espersen. Maria Bang Espersen works around the idea that all things are malleable, like glass, and that nothing can be permanently defined. Her experimental sculptures are therefore not only an approach but also a statement; one that states to never get caught up in the restrictive norms or to obey established hierarchies. Essentially, her works in glass, are a play with the possibilities of the material and an attempt to expand the viewer’s understanding of her chosen medium. Although static and solid in their final sate, Espersen stretches, pulls and bends her glass, resulting in works that appear soft and almost possible of languid movement. Her chosen sweets confectionery colour palette entices and draws the onlooker towards the artwork, which deliciously glisten. Espersen studied glass and ceramics at Engelsholm Højskole, in Denmark, continuing her studies at the Kosta School of Glass in Sweden, The Royal Danish Academy of Design, and Haystack Mountain...

European Contemporary Red Sculptural Candlestick by Margit Wittig
By Margit Wittig
Located in London, GB
Margit Wittig has used her sculptural skills to create beautifully-crafted, well-proportioned candlesticks, which are compositions of her unique signature pearl-shaped designs. Each candlestick begins as hand-sculpted spheres which are used to create moulds in three sizes. Margit refers to these finished spheres as pearls. These highly original, eye-catching candlesticks come in three different sizes depending on the number of pearls: three, five and seven. The candlesticks are cast in resin and Jesmonite mixed with pigment at the start of the process, to ensure color consistency. Some of the candlesticks are subtly finished with hand painted gold patina to reflect the shimmer of the candle. Each one is made with a solid brass drip catcher and can be cast in a variety of colors. Working from her studio in London, as well as candlesticks, Margit creates artistic lighting...

Vintage Kinik Glazed Vase from Turkey – Handcrafted Ceramic Art
Located in London, GB
This Kinik vase, handcrafted in the historic town of Kinik, Turkey, carries a legacy of family artisanship. Detailed Features: Handcrafted Excellence: This pot is a product of skilled artisans from Kinik. It showcases traditional pottery techniques passed down through generations, and the craftsmanship is evident in its robust structure and intricate hand-painted details. - Whimsical Cottage-Core Aesthetic: The pot boasts a whimsical appearance with vibrant natural pigments that highlight its charming, cottage-core appeal. Aged Patina: The vessel's surface showcases a beautiful aged patina, enhancing its antique appeal and adding depth to its character. Each imperfection and mark contributes to its uniqueness. - Versatile Utility: Originally designed for practical use, this pot can now be repurposed for modern decor needs. Its versatility allows it to serve multiple functions in your home. - Versatile Home Decor Accent: Tableware, Desk Decor, Kitchenware, and More This distinctive antique ceramic jar serves as a unique and captivating home decor piece. Eye of Discovery, a Blue & Black Abstract Glass Artwork by Yorgos Papadopoulos
By Yorgos Papadopoulos
Located in London, GB
‘Eye of Discovery’ is a unique sculpture by the Cypriot artist, Yorgos Papadopoulos, created from glass, silicone and pigments with a hematite patinated steel bezel and stand. Papadopoulos has reworked the iconic 'Evil Eye' amulet with his Stratified Jewels Collection. Taking this simple composition as a starting point, the scale is blown up and the colours completely reworked using resins and glass pigments. Using a pioneering technique he developed at the Royal College of Art. Yorgos combines pigments and shattered sheets of Industrial glass which he then re-laminates them to create architectural-scale artworks that look fragile but are extremely durable. Yorgos Papadopoulos initially studied as an interior designer at Middlesex University changing to a Ceramics Diploma at the City Lit in London. Whilst studying for his MA in ceramics at the RCA, Papadopoulos became drawn to the glass studios and after an incident where a sheet of Industrial glass was broken, he became seduced by the Material’s contradictory qualities. Excited by what is normally viewed as a bad outcome in the glass Community he spent the rest of his MA experimenting with and breaking glass. ‘Glass is my canvas, hammers are my brushes,’ says Papadopoulos. His ability to exploit and harness accident has informed his entire working practice. His architectural panels create a stunning focus in cool modern spaces, the contrast between the unpredictable movement of fracture and the clean lines of contemporary architecture excite the eye. Papadopoulos’ work is represented in private collections globally and public collections including; Eskishihir Glass Museum, Eskishihir (Turkey), Derix Glass Studio Taunusstein (Germany) and British Airways Art Collection - Heathrow T4 (UK). He is the author of the A&C Black book Glass Lamination...
