Antique English Edwardian Period R.A Lister & Co. Standing Bucket
By R.A. Lister & Co., Ltd. 1
Located in Forney, TX
A scarce Edwardian period R.A Lister & Co. oak standing bucket (wine cooler / plant stand) from the early 20th century, having brass double banded accents, gracefully rising on fitted tripod form base, with three gently curving cabriole legs joined by medial shelf stretcher. circa 1905 Born in Dursley, England in the early years of the short Edwardian reign, this charming standing bucket features a European old world wood stave barrel body, with elegantly aged rich antique oak colors, warm rustic tones, wonderful grain patterns, and beautiful patina, banned behind two nicely patinated horizontal gilt brass braces. As interesting and attractive as it is useful, the versatile bucket mounted stand can be used a variety of ways, including as functional decor in a wine bar or fine restaurant, serving, using a galvanized pail filled with ice as a freestanding table side champagne - wine bottle chiller, as a decorative country accent piece filled with fresh cut or dried flowers, filled with flowers as a indoor or outdoor porch planter - plant stand, or even outside as a farmhouse style garden ornament. Adorned with its original "R.A Lister & Co. Ltd" metal tag on the inside, this charming antique English oak bucket...

Heavy Antique French Copper Turbotiere Poacher, Maison Gaillard Paris, c.1850
Located in Dallas, TX
This heavy tin-lined French copper fish poacher, known as a turbotiere, dates to circa 1850 and was produced by the well-known factory for kitchen equipment, Maison Gaillard Paris. The turbot is a flatfish found in the Atlantic Ocean and this diamond-shaped poacher was designed to accommodate the shape of the fish, hence the name turbotiere. There is a production mark beneath the rolled rim which reads “Gaillard Maison”. A second production mark (“70”) can be seen beneath one of the large looping handles that are affixed by brass mounts with three rivets. The rivets combined with the dovetail seam on the bottom of the poacher attest to the age of production, as these were methods to assemble copper pieces prior to the late-19th century. Copper serving pieces are always in high demand, making our turbotiere poacher from Gaillard Paris a must have for a kitchen decorative...

Inspired by the Delftware products that became world renowned in the mid-17th to mid-18th centuries, this pair of cobalt blue and white cylinder vases were hand-painted in Holland (Netherlands) in the early 1900’s.
