International Fine Print Dealers Association (IFPDA)
Launched in 1987, the International Fine Print Dealers Association has continually set the bar for quality and ethics while promoting prints as original works of art to generations of collectors, curators and art lovers. With over 160 members in 13 countries, the IFPDA is a worldwide community of leading dealers and editions publishers who represent the full spectrum of printmaking. Each year, the IFPDA hosts the IFPDA Print Fair in New York, the only major fair dedicated to fine-art prints.

Giacometti’s testament to art and modern life in his beloved Paris.
For Tériade it would be a milestone, the last great publication he would see through the press. The two men [Tériade and Giacometti] had maintained a close friendship ever since the Surrealist Years. The one hundred and fifty lithographs are a profoundly interpenetrating view of Giacometti's experience of Paris. He selected the plates to be printed and determined the order of their relationship, numbering each one. The frontispiece shows a nude figure of a woman plunging forward, as though diving into space, and is immediately followed by a quantity of views of city streets, then of interiors familiar to the artist. We come upon views of his studio, of the cafes he frequented, of Annette's apartment in the rue Mazarine and Caroline's in the Avenue du Maine, strangers at cafe tables, passers by, parked automobiles, the towers of Saint-Suplice, bridges across the Seine, The Eiffel Tower. To accompany the hundred and fifty plates, a text of twenty pages was planned, but the artist never got further than a few rough drafts. A very good impression of this rarity.
Hollstein indicates that earlier impressions, such as this one, do not have a scratch above the head of the Virgin.
Beham was one of the Northern Renaissance Little Masters, so called because of their eminence in producing small-scale engravings such as the Virgin and Child with a Pear. Beham was born in Nuremberg in 1500, and may have trained under Durer, though his training is no more certain than that of his younger brother Barthel. He made his first engraving in 1518, and later became known for producing woodcuts as well.
Beham’s Madonna with the Pear has a similar composition but in reverse to Durer’s engraving...

Reference: Hausberg 32, only state, from the total printing of about 30 impressions. Printed in a reddish brown ink on a thin laid paper. In very good condition, trimmed by the artist on the platemark except for the tab, 7 1/2 x 5 1/16 inches.
A fine impression, printed with a veil of plate tone, wiped a bit less toward the sky making the sky darker than the street scene.
