This is a beautifully hand painted Chinese Export porcelain plate or bowl from the Qing, Kangxi period, 1662-1722, fully marked to the base with the Kangxi period Artemisia Leaf mark within a double blue ring.
The plate is of dinner plate size, finely potted with a carefully cut base rim and a lovely rich glassy, white glaze with a light blue tinge.
The plate is carefully hand painted in a free flowing style, characteristic of the period, in varying shades of a clear cobalt blue, iron red and gold. The central well is decorated in the Imari style with flowering peonies, asters and other flowers and grasses, with a small insect flying above the flowers, all within two sets of concentric blue circles. The outer rim is richly decorated with flower sprigs and leaves, all within an outer blue circle.

Woven in the age of the third Qing Emperor Yongzheng (1722-35), this delicately coloured precious silk brocade is embellished by three parallel and offset rows of children holding a cornucopia of auspicious symbols. In the first horizontal row, the child is holding in one hand a closed lotus flower, symbol of honesty, goodness, beauty and purity, and in the other a stick which a pair of coins, an element belonging to the group of Eight Precious Things. The following row depicts the child holding on one hand the Paintings, one of the four symbols of literature and science, and a peach blossom on the other, a flower associated with Spring and rejuvenation. The vase is delicately potted featuring a pear-shaped body that rests on a slightly flared foot and extends upward into a trumpet-shaped neck. Its exterior showcases a dynamic, three-clawed dragon in stride amidst flames.
This piece reflects a similar style to Yuan dynasty Yuhuchunping dragon vases, while reinterpreting certain details, such as the sharp and simplified shape of the dragon's head, the distinctive straight design of its claws, and the intricate depiction of the dragon’s scales.
The sticker on the base indicates that the absolute age was determined through radiological mechanical appraisal using the quantum absolute dating method, with the results pointing to the early 18th century.

Chinese Qing Dynasty Lacquered Wood Guanyin, 18th Century, Southern China

A Chinese early Qing Dynasty carved and lacquered wood figure of Guanyin, Southern China, 17th/18th century.
Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion and Mercy, is portrayed seated in dhyanasana, one hand raised in viktara mudra, the gesture of teaching and discourse.
The great bodhisattva is dressed in heavy, loose robes tied at the chest, with a mantle draped over his shoulders. He looks serenely outwards from heavily lidded eyes. Guanyin's face carved beautifully with somewhat feminine features. A large five pointed crown sits upon his head. The larger leaves of the crown carved with indistinct images of the Buddha.
The statue was originally fully lacquered in the deep red gilt lacquer typical of Southern Chinese Buddhist sculpture...
