This is a rare shaped Tureen
Both the main body and lid are very well potted with moulded detail. The tureen base has two side handles. The lid has a shaped finial knob to the top and a side cut away for a serving spoon.
It is decorated in one of Mason's beautiful hand painted chinoiserie fence patterns called; Fence, Rock and Blue Willow pattern...

This is a hard paste porcelain tea pot and lid by New Hall dating to very early 19th century, George 111rd period, circa 1800 / 1805.
The Teapot is well potted with an oval shape and high loop handle.
The decoration is hand-painted in bold enamels in a chinoiserie pattern called "Boy or Lady in the Window" and is pattern number 425, with an upper rim dot and line border.
This is a recorded New Hall pattern.
A similar Teapot in the same shape with a different pattern is illustrated on page 112 of the book: An Anthology of British Teapots by Philip Miller & Michael Berthoud published by Micawber Publications.
The base has the pattern number 425 hand painted in burnt orange, on the inner foot rim.
Please Note : This piece has damage which is not obvious when displayed and it displays very well.

A rare and stunning French majolica twin handled pottery bowl applied with birds by renowned maker Sarreguemines and dating from the latter 19th century. The rounded bowl stands raised on four half ball shaped feet with a basket weave styled design. The rounded bowl is applied with decorative panels in low relief with leaf and stem handles to either side and with birds, their wings out spread, perched on a scorlling vine. The bowl has a raised rim with gothic style pierced panels and is richly hand painted in tones of brown, green, red, yellow, white and black. The inner bowl and base applied with bright turquoise glazes. The bowl is numbered 537 and has impressed SARREGUEMINES and MAJOLICA marks...
