A tin-glazed earthenware tankard with polychrome decoration and pewter cover. The tankard depicts a Turkish horseman with a saber held high over his head with trees and rockwork to either side painted in unusual colors.
The inside of the pewter cover with stamped touchmark of a hand-held pair of scales below initials CM. On top of the cover are the initials JAS over 1798.

This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has a helmet shaped form onto a pedestal with a circular spreading foot and plain square base.
The upper portion of the body is ornamented with a broad band of bright cut engraved irregular undulating decoration.
The body of the jug is embellished with a pin struck and bright cut engraved decorated shield shaped vacant cartouche suspended from a stylized ribbon design.
The rim of the body is encompassed with an applied reed decorated border.

He left McKinsey to helm the Celanese Corporation in New York, a global fiber and chemical company. He oversaw its expansion and dramatically increased share value, partly through stock buybacks — a concept he was one of the first to implement. Celanese was acquired by Hoechst AG of Germany in 1987 making it the world’s largest chemical company at the time. Macomber was then recruited by President George H.W. An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique George III Irish sterling silver sauceboats or gravy boats; an addition to our Georgian dining silverware collection.
These fine antique Georgian Irish sterling silver sauceboats have a plain oval rounded form.
The body of each gravy boat is embellished with impressive concave fluted decoration emanating from a central point of the underside, accented with graduating circular motifs to the terminals to the sides.
The rims of these impressive sauce boats are encompassed with a band of concave circular motifs.
The sauceboats are fitted with opposing scroll handles featuring chased stylized leaf design to the upper portion, incorporating a scrolling leaf decorated thumbpiece.
Each example of antique Georgian silverware is supported by three impressive applied hoof feet with stylized shell decorated sockets, accented with a sunburst design in junction with the body.
Pairs of Irish silver sauceboats in such exceptional condition are becoming increasingly difficult to locate.
Condition
These antique sauceboats are an exceptional gauge of silver for their type, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Full Irish hallmarks struck to the underside of each gravy boat are all very clear in keeping with age and location.

This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver tea caddy has an oval form.
The surface of the tea caddy is encompassed with bright cut engraved fabric swag designs and floral festoons, suspended from impressive spiralling foliate anchor-points accented with pensile bud designs.
Each spiralling motif flanks a shield shaped cartouche displaying the contemporary engraved initials 'WM' and surmounted with a ribbon style bow.
The upper and lower portions of the body are encompassed with engraved bands of chevron style decoration, in addition to an applied bead decorated border.

Pair of Paul Storr, English, sterling silver tureens or covered vegetable dishes, beautifully adorned with gadrooned rims, natural motifs, and a noble crest, from 1809 (George III era). They measure 14'' from handle to handle (10 1/2'' excluding the handles) by 11 1/2'' in height (height of the stands are 4 3/4'').
