Superb Antique English Marquetry Inlaid Mahogany Kidney Shape Tray w/Handles

About the Item

A wonderful and rare Antique English marquetry inlaid mahogany unusual kidney shape two handle tray; the handles are brass with a mahogany laminated gallery (some old repairs). (There are some old repairs to the gallery in a couple of different places and only mentioned for accuracy.) The tray is in great, age-appropriate condition. The back and all aspects of the tray are original. The featured marquetry inlays show a lovely anthemion amongst rincent scrolls done in satinwood and other exotic woods.
