About the Item

Bentwood furniture came to prominence in the early 1900s, and was a staple in cafes and restaurants in Europe. This is a bentwood armchair, designed by ZPM Radomsko in Poland and produced for Thonet. The amazing bentwood construction introduces sloping lines that imbue a sculptural quality to the chair. It features a beautiful, light blonde color in its finish and a rich patina, inherent only through the generations of use this piece has seen. It has minor discoloration and even wear to the finish. It is structurally solid and ready to be placed to elevate your home interior design.
