About the Item

This rare piece sold with certificate of authenticity. The chair was designed by George Sowden for Memphis Milano in 1986. As with many pieces in the Memphis collection, the name of the piece is also a place, in this case Gloucester, where the designer studied architecture in the 1960s. The chair today is produced only upon request. Excellent condition. there is a nameplate certifying designer, brand and year of manufacture. Made of polished wood.
