Mid-Century Modern Aqua Blue White and Green Nautical Harbor Painting
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Mid-Century Modern harbor painting signed, “LeMark.” The painting deviates from others of the period with it’s bright aqua blue, yellow, green and white palette. Earth tones are abundant in Mid-Century Modern paintings. Here we have something light and bright to illuminate your space. The harbor scene is rendered with broad, painterly strokes. These dynamic brush marks are borrowed from the Abstract Expressionist aesthetic prevalent at the time. This painting will be right at home in coastal locations with it’s sailboat set...

Richard Hirsch Encaustic Painting of Nothing #73, 2021
Located in New York, NY
Contemporary American ceramic artist Richard Hirsch's encaustic Painting of Nothing #73 is made of ceramic raw materials, dry pigment and wax. This piece is part of his ongoing Painting of Nothing Series. Hirsch applies the waxy mix with a brush onto redwood plywood backed structures with two-inch wood strips all around and used various torches to layer, flux, bubble and blend. "Waxy and very tactile, they are probably the work Mark Rothko would have done had he spent most of his life in clay. Hirsch’s paintings have the nuance, subtle texture, and color shifts that become evident in blown-up photographs of his ceramic objects as well as a similar presence." Signed and dated en verso by the artist. This painting ship directly from the artist’s studio in Rochester, NY. Lawrence Weiner Limited Edition Tattoo, ALL IN DUE COURSE, South London Gallery
Located in Barcelona, Barcelona
Lawrence Weiner, ALL IN DUE COURSE, limited edition tattoo for the South London Gallery, 2014. Materials: Paper Tattoo Dimensions: W 10.5 cm x H 15 cm. Tattoo size: W 4 cm x H 9 cm. Born in 1942 in the Bronx, New York, Weiner lives and works in New York and Amsterdam. Internationally regarded, Weiner has an expansive following that reaches across several generations. Though recognised as one of the central figures pioneering conceptual art in the 1960s, he identifies himself not as a conceptualist but as a sculptor whose medium is “language + the materials referred to”. Since the 1970s Weiner has been best known for his striking wall ‘sculptures’. Mainly using paint or vinyl, his works carve walls with thought, presenting provocative texts that are open to interpretation by the viewer. Weiner has presented a number of projects and exhibitions across the UK since the early 1970s: at ICA, London; Pier Arts Centre, Orkney; The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh; The Henry Moore Sculpture Trust, Halifax; Art Transpennine, Hull; Inverleith House in Edinburgh; several engagements with Bury Art Gallery, including their Text Festivals; a solo show at the National Maritime Museum, London; and occasional shows in commercial galleries, the most recent at Lisson Gallery in 2013. Weiner’s work is also represented in the Tate collection, including as part of ARTIST ROOMS. Vitrines in the SLG’s entrance corridor contain documentation from some of these events from Weiner’s past, including his association with Factory Records...
