About the Item

Sterling silver sugar sifter by Tiffany & Co in the Saratoga/Cook/Kings pattern. No monogram This pattern was designed by Edward C Moore and was first introduced as Kings in 1870, was reintroduced as Cook in 1908, and finally became Saratoga in 1956. The French inspired design is classic in its ornate elegance. This sugar sifter features a pierced scallop edge bowl that may have been gold washed but has mostly faded. The M hallmark dates this piece to an early issue of this pattern, manufactured under the directorship of Edward C. Moore, 1873-91. Does not include Tiffany box or pouch. Measures approx 6 3/4" long, 2 1/8" wide across bowl. Weighs approx 51.0g, 32.8dwt Marked M TIFFANY & CO STERLING PAT Very nice condition with some slight surface scratching and mild tarnish. Will come packaged securely and in a gift box or pouch when possible (not a Tiffany box or pouch) and will be shipped US Priority Mail with insurance. Does not include Tiffany & Co box or pouch.
