Absolutely stunning Art Deco platinum and diamond Swiss-made, spring-wound wristwatch by Ollendorff circa the late 1920s! It's not just a timepiece, it's a gorgeous, luxurious and hand-crafted piece of historical fine jewelry. 56 diamonds, 2.0cttw. With its tiered rows of 16 round-cut glittering diamonds reaching from either side of the platinum case to the lugs, the design was likely inspired by the iconic terraced crown of the Chrysler Building in New York City. If the diamond and platinum case weren't luxe enough, the original watch band is comprised of two buckles set with 10 diamonds, leading to 30 chevron-shaped platinum links with milgrain detailing, each set with their own diamond as well! The watch has a total of 56 diamonds for approximately 2.0cttw. This watch is a sparkling show-stopper, a rare piece. Total length of 6.75 inches; suggested maximum wrist circumference is 6.5" for a comfortable fit. Links could be removed by your local jeweler if you prefer a smaller circumference.

Both were crafted from solid 18k white gold and are completely covered with approximately 5.05 carats of fine quality diamonds. An stunning, fine and impressive antique 2.16 carats diamond and 9k white gold, platinum set watch; part of our diverse ladies cocktail watch and diamond jewelry collections.
This stunning antique diamond and platinum watch has a circular form.
The wristwatch has a watch face displaying bold black Arabic numerals within a circular, minute marked chapter ring.
This impressive ladies diamond watch is fitted with blued steel hands and has a plain crown/winder.
The platinum bezel is encircled with twenty-five eight cut diamonds and accented with shaped lugs, each accented with a further four diamonds..
The anterior surface of the articulated bracelet style strap consists of two curvilinear links and conjoined with rectangular connectors.
Each pierced decorated link is ornamented with further eight-cut diamonds.
The diamond links conjoin with eight gate-style articulated links, securing to the reverse with an adjustable bar style clasp; this allows the watch to be worn at different lengths.
This stunning antique manual wind wrist watch is fitted with a Swiss made 15 jewel movement.
The interior of the watch case displays the hallmark for platinum (platine), in addition to the Swiss domestic platinum mark (chamois*, c - La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) and the reverse of the clasp bears the maker's mark (C&F), the gold mark (9, 375), the Birmingham Assay Office mark (anchor) and the date letter for 1952 (C).
This ladies cocktail watch is supplied with an independent diamond grading report card.
NOTE: The watch casing was assayed in La Chaux-de-Fonds and bears the chamois mark (1914-1934), this in addition to the style of the piece denotes the date as circa 1925, with a later added gate style strap and clasp.

One of the most respected names in American watch making, was the house founded by Edward Howard in Boston Massachusetts in 1858. Howard was an exceptional watchmaker who had worked originally for the Willard Clock Company. Willard was the premier American clock maker and advanced American horology. Howard’s exceptional designs and innovations helped establish America as a watchmaking capital along with the Waltham Watch Company. Howard’s creativity helped establish the principles of industrialization and standardized parts. Howards watches were rugged and very accurate as well. Their case designs were innovative as well. Howard watches were used by scientists and engineers in military and industry because they were rugged and dependable.
In 1903, the Howard Watch Company was acquired by the Keystone Watch Case Company. Keystone continued to produce Howard watches under the Howard brand name until 1935. By that time the great depression had taken its toll on all but the most robust watch companies. During the 1920’s Howard produced the 12-size caliber which was a beautifully finished watch that kept exceptional time. A very stylish platinum and diamond watch from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This stunning timepiece features a flat octagonal face set in a sleek platinum encasement. Sparkling diamonds line the uniquely shaped face, each micro-prong set within the wide frame. On the face of the watch are black hand painted numbers and metallic black hands above a creamy background. A smooth piece of octagonal polished crystal covers the surface of the watch face, resting slightly higher than the encasement, a lovely and unique detail. Ornate engraved detail lines the edges of the watch case, and a simple winder can be found at the side. The back of the watch, which can be fully removed, is stamped on the interior "PLATINUM" and "100," alongside the makers mark for Hayden W. Wheeler & Company, Inc. Once open, the working watch movement inside is revealed. The movement itself has several marks including "DESTA WATCH CO," "UNADJUSTED SEVENTEEN," "17 JEWELS," "SWISS MADE," and "HWG." The band is made of textured black leather with black stitching, completing the design's black and white color scheme. Stamped on the underside of the band is "GENUINE LEATHER." A fabulous timepiece, this vintage ladies watch would be perfect for a special occasion or everyday wear!
