This sleek Biedermeier piece is beautifully veneered in birch and sided on a hexagonal column which is set on an elaborately designed base with ebonized feet.

The set was made in Vienna circa 1825.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The pieces have beautiful highly figured veneer with lovely light deep amber color and 200 years old patina.
This beautiful Biedermeier set is a great example of refined elegance combined with comfort.
The chairs sits well and are very comfortable.
