This large artisan lanterns has an eye-catching design featuring a cylindrical structure made of rattan sticks wraped and detailed with jute rope. Combining Coastal style and Bohemian accents.
They hang from a chain with bamboo sticks alternating with rattan links ended by a wooden canopy. The length of the chain can be shortened to adjust it to the desired height.

This eye-catching rattan chandelier features a pagoda shape rattan hanging lamp with oriental inspired design. The lampshade is made of an intricate of rattan canes and it hangs from a chain made of round rattan links. Topped by a wooden canopy.
It has been carefully restored and newly wired with beige twisted cotton cloth electrical wire and an E27 bulb holder.

The Bollicosa Nautilus outdoor lamp is similar to the Bollicosa indoor glass sphere, with the typical surface bubbles found in blown glass; the natural irregularities in the glass lend a rough feel, enhancing its 3-D sensation with what to the naked eye appears as a fossilized stone effect.
The lamp is suspended in a neutral color cord net with knots in contrasting color, reminiscent of the hand-woven cord in the Cassina outdoor collection. In two sizes 30 cm Ø or 50 cm Ø, with clear smoked glass and knots in different colors.

Bollicosa Nautilus has the same blown glass sphere as the Bollicosa indoor with the distinctive bubbly surface caused by the artisan blowing process; the natural irregularities make the material rough and matt and imbue it with a 3D quality that gives it the appearance of a fossilised stone to the naked eye. The outdoor version envelopes the diffuser with a neutral-coloured polypropylene cord net, with knots in contrasting colours, which recalls the hand weaves of the furniture in the Cassina outdoor collection. The VV Cinquanta features an elegant and versatile posable direct light source that can swivel and tilt. The wall model is mounted on a brass fixture, allowing the reflector to rotate 350 degrees, and can be angled 160 degrees, providing a wide range of lighting compositions.
The VV Cinquanta reflector is made of enameled spun aluminium, available in original Vittoriano Viganò colors.

VV Cinquanta is a lighting collection that embodies elegance and versatility.
Designed by Italian architect Vittoriano Viganó in 1951 during his time as Art Director for Arteluce, the VV Cinquanta features a posable direct light source that can swivel and tilt, from direct working light to upward lighting.
The wall model is mounted on a brass fixture, allowing the reflector to rotate 350 degrees, and can be angled 160 degrees.
The suspension model is a sophisticated luminaire with a distinctive dual-stemmed construction. It features two uniquely shaped reflectors, one narrow and one wide. The fixture and the reflectors can be adjusted to many different positions, enabling a wide variety of both downward and upward lighting. The invitingly playful design encourages dynamic lighting compositions.
The floor model stands gracefully on a slender black aluminium frame. The reflector is mounted to an articulated stem that can swivel and tilt, enabling various lighting scenarios.
The VV Cinquanta reflector is made of spun aluminium, available in original Vittoriano Viganò colours.
The VV Cinquanta collection, as all other Astep products, is made in Italy.

Vittoriano Viganò
Vittoriano Viganò was born in Milan in 1919. Son of the painter and engraver Vico Viganò, he graduated in Achitecture at the Polytechnic School of Milan in 1944.
A main figure of the architectural debate in the post war period and an original interpreter of European Rationalism, he was unanimously considered by critics the most important Italian exponent of the ‘Brutalism’ current.
