An exceptional, fine and impressive, antique 18th century Dutch silver miniature teapot; an addition to our silver teaware collection This exceptional, fine and impressive antique 18th century Dutch silver miniature teapot has a circular rounded form. The body of this silver teapot is plain and unembellished. This antique silver teapot is fitted with a push fit domed cover surmounted with a cast silver baluster shaped finial. The teapot is fitted with a fine and impressive cast opposing scrolling handle. This exceptional miniature silver teapot features a plain cast silver swan-necked spout. The hallmarks struck to the underside of this Dutch silver teapot include: National mark: Crowned shield with three Andrew crosses (Amsterdam, minimum of .875 standard) Date letter: F (1716) Maker's mark: Untraced Such period miniature examples of this substantial gauge of silver and quality are rare to the market. Condition This 18th century teapot is a superior gauge of silver and superior quality. The Dutch silver miniature teapot is in exceptional condition. The interior of the teapot has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. The Dutch hallmarks to the underside of the teapot are very clear, in keeping with age and location. A magnificent, fine and impressive set of three antique Georgian English sterling silver sugar and tea caddies - boxed; an addition to our silver teaware collection These magnificent, fine and impressive antique Georgian silver sugar and tea caddies each have an oblong shaped form. The surface of each antiquecaddy is embellished with impressive embossed and chased scroll and foliate decoration incorporating a stylised animalistic mask to the upper portion. The decoration to either side incorporates a scene depicting a woman arranging flowers, and the posterior surface bears a structure, all in the chinoiserie style. The anterior surfaces these antique tea caddies incorporate scroll and leaf bordered cartouches, each displaying a contemporary engraved coat of arms. The opposing scrolling lower portion of each caddy composes a shaped rim and foot. These caddies are fitted with the original hinged cast silver covers, ornamented with further foliate and floral decoration and surmounted with impressive floral finials. These Georgian silver tea caddies and sugar canister are fitted to the fine and impressive, original hinged wood and skin covered presentation casket, bearing the original velvet lined interior. The presentation box is fitted with the original silver escutcheon and carrying handle, in addition to four bracket style feet emanating from the corners. These magnificent silver boxes are the finest of their type you could hope to acquire. Condition These antique 18th century tea/sugar caddies are a magnificent gauge of silver, magnificent quality and in magnificent condition. The cast, embossed and chased decoration is very sharp and the engraved ornamentation is very crisp; the definition of these details indicates these caddies have seen little or no use. The original casket is distressed in keeping with age, however, remains in working condition. Full hallmarks struck to the underside of the caddies are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the magnificent gauge of silver. This exceptional antique Victorian cast sterling silver communion set consists of a chalice, paten and wine phial/flask. The chalice has a circular baluster form onto a knopped pedestal and spreading foot. The surface of the antique chalice is ornamented with impressive embossed quatrefoil cartouches bearing contemporary engraved initials 'IHS'*. The surface of the drinking vessel is further embellished with impressive flat engraved decoration, emanating from the protruding cartouches, in addition to encircling the upper rim below a plain moulded border. The knops to the panelled pedestal are encompassed with bead decoration. The circular foot of this exceptional chalice is encircled with flat engraved arched geometric designs. The paten has a circular-shaped form to a plain circular foot. The model is embellished with details replicating the large horse's anatomical features, coat and mane. The saddled and bridled silver horse ornament is stood behind a gentleman figure bearing huntsman attire comprised of a hunting coat, loose breeches, riding boots with spurs and helmet. The exceptional male character grasps the horse's reigns in one hand and a riding crop in the other. Both figures stand to a solid silver base ornamented with a rockwork texture. This antique cast sterling silver model sits to the original painted oak wood plinth base. This magnificent example of Victorian silverware, crafted by the renowned and important London silversmiths John Hunt & Robert Roskell, is the finest example of its type. Vintage George VI Art Deco Style Sterling Silver Condiment Set (1947)

An exceptional, fine and impressive vintage George VI English sterling silver Art Deco style three piece condiment set - boxed; an addition to our vintage silverware collection. This exceptional vintage George VI sterling silver three-piece condiment set consists of a salt, a pepper pot and a mustard pot. The pieces of this fine silver condiment set have a plain cylindrical tapering form onto a circular foot. The surface of each piece is embellished with concentric bands of tooled decoration, all in the iconic Art Deco style. The mustard pot is fitted with an angular handle with a plain upper plateau. The mustard pot retains the original hinged hallmarked domed cover, ornamented with tiered concentric circular decoration and surmounted with an Art Deco style tapering cylindrical finial. The pepper pot is fitted with a push fit cover with pierced 'pepper' holes. The salt and mustard pot are fitted with removable blue glass liners. This vintage silver condiment set is supplied with associate salt and mustard spoons. These fine examples of vintage silverware are fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, securing with two hinged catches. The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'By Appointment, Mappin & Webb Ltd, Sheffield & London' and each component of the condiment set bears the retailer's mark 'Mappin & Webb Ltd, Sheffield & London'. The exceptional condiment set will have been crafted in the same year, but due to the hallmarking system the mustard pot is struck with the date letter 'D', whereas the pepper and salt bear the date letter 'E'. A fine and impressive antique George III English sterling silver helmet shaped creamer made by Peter and Ann Bateman, an addition to our Georgian silver teaware collection. This fine antique George III sterling silver cream jug has a helmet shaped form onto a pedestal with a circular spreading foot and plain square base. The upper portion of the body is ornamented with a broad band of bright cut engraved irregular undulating decoration. The body of the jug is embellished with a pin struck and bright cut engraved decorated shield shaped vacant cartouche suspended from a stylized ribbon design. The rim of the body is encompassed with an applied reed decorated border. He surface of the square base is embellished with further bright cut engraved and pin struck leaf motifs and simple paralleling border.
