Red Antique Rugs, Traditional Carpet Turkish Rug, Mihrabi Living Room Rug
Located in Wembley, GB
This design of the Turkish carpets is most distinctive and is known as prayer designs for over a thousand years. One can find the connotation of the design back to ancient, where the architectural plan was coined and implemented by designers for the carpets and rugs. Ancients believed the ideal place for paradise is through a gate to unspoiled nature where one's soul is guided by Mithraist ideals. One can easily observe the resemblance of the church's gate to the paradisal gate which is well over 7000 years old. Usually, this design is accompanied by the two vertical columns and supplemented by the lights in between the columns as you can see on this golden-red rug. The purpose of it is to guide one's soul, which within ancient philosophy we are fighting evil every day through the dark and lightness. There are a few borders on this gold rug, which are woven in similar patterns and colors. This woven rug could be used as a prayer carpet rug. Antique oriental rugs would complement your home as floor rugs too. These natural rugs look beautiful and would Stand out as hallway rugs or living room rugs. These washable rugs are one of a kind and cannot be found in every rug warehouse or rug store. Red antique rugs...
