Credited with revitalizing Balenciaga during his 15-year tenure as creative director, designer Nicolas Ghesquière introduced modern, minimalist designs to a house famous for its sculptural silhouettes. Futuristic designer Issey Miyake has mastered the technique of creating sculptural works of art in cloth.
