Two great examples of 18th century Spanish Colonial slipper stirrups. Not a pair, each similar yet different. One is brass with a lovely floral decoration, the other a rare copper type with a simple incised design. Both with a wonderful patina that only comes with real age and use. Marble carving of the elephant headed four armed Hindu God Ganesha. With traces of old paint, it now has a rich honey patina from years of devotees touching the surface. Shown seated on a throne in the yoga pose, sukhasana, cross legged meditation pose. Two of his hands grasp a battle axe and a lasso, symbols of his role as a rescuer and protector. His other two hands hold an elephant goad and one of his own tusks, which he broke off in a fit of anger. His rat vehicle is below him.

The fog nozzle is ideal for fires that give out a large amount of heat and hence require extensive cooling. In the fog position, this branch creates very fine droplets i.e "fog", greatly increasing the surface area, thus helping absorb maximum heat.
