Reclaimed 18th Century French Wardrobe Doors, Set of 4
Located in Mckinney, TX
This set of four antique wardrobe doors, reclaimed from a country manor in France, exudes timeless character. Each door showcases a 2-panel design with raised panels framed by grooved and beveled trim, emphasizing traditional craftsmanship. The weathered blue-gray paint has worn gracefully over time, revealing a rich patina that adds depth and charm to the wood. Originally used to enclose built-in cupboards, these doors are a wonderful way to introduce a sense of history and authenticity into a modern home. Perfect for creative reuse, they offer both practicality and a glimpse into the past. Salvaged from a country home in France, 18th century. The exterior of the doors features time-worn blue-gray paint with areas of natural wood beneath, while the opposite sides are natural wood with one door bearing the original blue-gray paint. The doors would be best installed to enclose a built-in cupboard or work well with sliding barn door hardware...

18th Century French Fireplace Mantel in Carved Limestone
Located in Dallas, TX
This beautiful antique French fireplace mantel was carved in stone during the late 18th century. It’s quite an unusual example in that falls into the transitional style of Louis XV and XVI. This was a short period of time in the 1700s when the opulent rocaille forms were transitioning into the Neoclassical of Louis XVI. The fireplace has an impressive, deep stance, with a slightly bowed or “galbee” lintel. The bottom of the lintel is composed of a series of rounded and incurved moldings, shaped in the classic crossbow or serpentine form that was so popular in the early to mid-1700s. What makes this piece stand out from other French Louis XV mantels...

Circa 1800 Italian Lobed Basin in Carved Verona Rosso Marble
Located in Dallas, TX
Hand-carved in northern Italy, circa 1800, this lobed basin was crafted from beautiful Verona rosso marble, most likely as a holy water receptacle in a church. Known for its reddish color and light veining, this particular marble has a wonderful rose color with light gray, cream, and brown veining. Thick gadroon lobes adorn the outside of the oval basin, beneath a quarter-round rim under a raised molding. The timeless carvings and warm color of the marble can be paired with just about any style of interior design. Our Italian lobed basin would make a fantastic decorative bowl on a foyer center table...

Antique French Blue and White Faience Interior Wall Fountain, circa 1880
Located in Dallas, TX
Made from tin-glazed pottery, known as faience, this antique French interior wall fountain is from circa 1880. All three sections that comprise the fountain have been hand painted in cobalt blue and white, reminiscent of Delftware that was popular in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries. The top section is in the form of a French-style dolphin, with a raised tail and a mouth that features a small excavation for a waterspout. Beneath the dolphin’s head is a scalloped shell basin with volute valves that rests upon a foliate column embellished with C-scrolls and subtle fluting. A perfect wall fountain for a covered entryway or foyer, our unique blue and white dolphin wall fountain...
