We are delighted to offer this beautiful vintage Japanese solid silver fan/Sensu/O-gi made circa 1960s. The fan can be displayed on a wooden stand (included) and presents itself with a pronounced contrast of the silver background and the mixed metal highlights of floral blossoms, birds and foliate motifs. The mixed metal decoration is typical of classic Japanese design and consists of gold and Shakudo copper. The fan is crafted in its open position and is fixed (cannot be collapsed) with its angles and sections being exceptionally well made in a fine gauge of silver that realistically replicates the delicacy of paper fans.
