Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the interior storage space has been painted black to finish it off. But even though the tops have been sanded, there are still some stubborn stains on both tops. For the upper class in countries such as England, the massive, costly beds of the 16th and 17th centuries were decorative and of the poster variety.
