Fine quality hand painted porcelain humidor is in excellent all original condition with no chips, repairs, or overpaint; nice bright crisp paint and detail. No mark, but definitely American, circa 1900 era. Note the detail to the Indian's face and his elaborate headdress. Native American Indians were especially attracted to tobacco and related products and relished the opportunity to pose for pictures on that topic; note cigar store "Indians", match safes, and humidors. This is a very desirable and item of tobacciana with the Indian subject matter and the attractive multicolored hand painted Indian chief with headdress, probably of note but I have not been able to accurately identify him; quite possibly "Big Bow" an Indian warrior who has been identified on other similar objects. Vintage tabletop swing ball game.
A rare tabletop swing ball game in original pine box. The exterior of the lid with stenciled name 'Le Spiroble de Salon'. The interior with paper instructions. The Victorian or early Edwardian game comprises of a short beech-wood pole with weighted X base and a ball on a piece of string. There are two very nice long handled rackets to accompany the set, the rackets with original gut stringing.
A fine and I believe very rare set.
The paper instructions are in French and read:-

The underside of this box has a subtly concave form proffering a comfortable fit in the majority of pockets.
The surface of this antique silver tobacco box is plain and unembellished.
This silver tobacco tin or box retains the original sprung flush hinged hallmarked subtly convex cover, which opens by applying gentle pressure to each side.
The interior of the box retains the original gilding.
This antique Edwardian piece is an exceptional example for its type.

This antique tobacco box is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The box has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks and part hallmarks struck to the interior of the box are all very clear.
