Kim Chair by Michele de Lucchi for Memphis-Milano, 1980s

About the Item

The Kim chair was designed by the Italian architect Michele de Lucchi in 1987: De Lucchi was one of the co-founders of the Postmodern design group Memphis, headed by Ettore Sottsass. Black lacquered steel frame, bent plywood seat and backrest in aniline-dyed green. Origination: Italy, 1990s. The chair was purchased from the office/furniture shop Wohnform in Switzerland by the original owner (it still has the shop tag). Condition: Very good, light signs of use as per pictures. Approximate dimensions: Height: 82 cm Width: 40 cm Depth: 58 cm Seating height: 45 cm
