Introducing a rare and limited set of eight Model 71 dining chairs designed by the incomparable Niels Møller for J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, crafted in the 1960s in Denmark. These stunning chairs are constructed from a mix of solid and veneered Burmese teak and feature a sculptural seat back that adds a touch of elegance and comfort to the design, while the tapered legs add a sense of lightness and airiness. The seats have been re-strapped and reupholstered in a rich, thick-cut genuine Italian leather hide in a fabulous hazelnut brown tone perfectly off-setting the natural wood tones of the solid teak frames.
Niels Otto Moller was a Danish furniture designer, known for his modern and functional designs. He studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and went on to work for various furniture manufacturers, including J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik, where he designed the Model 71 Dining Chairs.
J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik was a Danish furniture manufacturer, founded in 1944 by Jorgen Langkilde Moller. The company was known for producing high-quality furniture in the Danish Modern style, using materials such as teak and oak. The company was in operation until the late 1970s.

The ‘Louisiana’ chair was initially created for the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Humlebæk, Denmark, by the Danish architects Jørgen Bo and Vilhelm Wohlert. Inside the modern building complex the chairs were supposed to serve as functional chairs for events. Therefore, Bo and Wohlert had a comfortable chair in mind that is easily stackable. The round seat with off-white suede upholstery and a curved backrest provide comfort.
