Pierre Paulin Floral Velvet "Concorde" Lounge Chairs for Artifort, 1970s

About the Item

Spring has sprung with these adorable "Concorde" lounge chairs designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in the 1970s. These early examples sport the uncommon black lacquered metal bases. The chairs have been updated in a thick linen velvet featuring flowering branches, made by Donghia. Great restored condition, ready to break in. The black bases have been kept original and show some very nominal cosmetic wear/patina. Comfy, cute, and minimalistic.
