After his football training at Montecatini, Carlo Galli's competitive career remained inextricably linked to that of coach Giuseppe Gipo Viani. He met the future coach of the national team in Lucca in 1949 and in the summer of that year, when Viani moved to the Palermo bench, Galli was signed by the Rosanerodal from Cascina.
Despite his stature, however, he was gifted in the aerial game and here Viani's contribution was decisive.
He succeeded in making him a centre forward who made the most of his characteristics, so much so that he was nicknamed the golden head, and on 8 December 1949 came his Serie A debut. On 18 December (Palermo Lazio 2-1) he scored his first Serie A goal.

If there is an art gene, Fernando de Ana (Talavera de la Reina, 1979) and a graduate in Fine Arts, carries it with him. Since he was born he has been surrounded by oil and pencils, spatulas and turpentine. He belongs to the third generation of a saga of artists that began at the beginning of the 19th century with his great-uncle, José Pérez, painter and first director of the Cádiz Museum of Art, and continued with his father, Juan Carlos Jiménez, also a painter and Doctor. in Fine Arts.
If his ancestors delighted in light and still lifes, Fernando de Ana has also wanted to explore other more contemporary languages, working first as an illustrator - he has received several international awards - and as a cartoonist, to later soak up design and the avant-garde Dutch, a pioneer country in this field, where he combined his artistic work with that of art director for more than a decade. His work has been exhibited in Prague, Bologna, Amsterdam or London, among other cities and has been selected and awarded in different art competitions.
From that transversality of influences and from that symbiosis of classic and avant-garde references, now comes his maturity as an artist. Away from his comfort zone, the artist opts for his own language in which emotions prevail over the metallic. His way of being in the world beats in his work: human relationships marked by sex, loneliness and melancholy, anxiety as a catalyst for art, obsessions spinning in a spiral, repetition of patterns, morbid agitated with tenderness infinite, the frustrated Innocence that still breathes, moving it as a motor. Fernando de Ana's work responds to a mature creative process, built over several decades exploring different formats, where material, meaning and feeling go in the same direction. 'Forbbiden carnal', his elegant series in resin and neon, has already become an exponent by combining without complexes an apparently cold material with geometric limits with the warmth and sensuality of light, in such a way that it has achieved that both elements exchange natures.

About the Artist:
André Derain (10 June 1880 – 8 September 1954) was a French artist, painter, sculptor and co-founder of Fauvism with Henri Matisse.
Derain and Matisse worked together through the summer of 1905 in the Mediterranean village of Collioure and later that year displayed their highly innovative paintings at the Salon d'Automne. The vivid, unnatural colors led the critic Louis Vauxcelles to derisively dub their works as les Fauves, or "the wild beasts", marking the start of the Fauvist movement. In March 1906, the noted art dealer Ambroise Vollard sent Derain to London to produce a series of paintings with the city as subject. In 30 paintings (29 of which are still extant), Derain presented a portrait of London that was radically different from anything done by previous painters of the city such as Whistler or Monet. With bold colors and compositions, Derain painted multiple pictures of the Thames and Tower Bridge. These London paintings remain among his most popular work. Art critic T. G Rosenthal: "Not since Monet has anyone made London seem so fresh and yet remain quintessentially English.
Some of his views of the Thames use the Pointillist technique of multiple dots, although by this time, because the dots have become much larger, it is rather more simply the separation of colours called Divisionism and it is peculiarly effective in conveying the fragmentation of colour in moving water in sunlight."

Pierre Bosco, born January 29, 1909 in Visco, in the province of Udine, and died March 3, 1993 in Vernouillet, was an Italian painter and lithographer. He is best known in the 1970s as the painter of sport and horse racing.
In the 1950s, he began to achieve greater success by participating in an exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, where his paintings received praise. The following year, he exhibited fifty paintings at the Galerie du Hérisson in front of an enthusiastic public. The French press associates paintings from this period with "bewitching magic", and according to the poet Guy Lavaud, "Bosco is a powerful painter and a visionary." For three consecutive years, the painter was selected for the prestigious prize of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. 1956, Bosco signs a fifteen-year contract with the famous Galerie de l'Elysée in Paris for an exclusive representation. At this stage of his career, Pierre Bosco has reached a maturity appreciated by art connoisseurs as well as by the press which is unanimous in praising his "dazzling visions"; Le Figaro considers him "as one of the greatest painters of his generation" and the New York Herald sees him as "the last Picasso in perspective, and very fashionable" (May 14, 1957).
