Signed 24k gold infused Crystal Fish Sculpture by Josef Marcolin. original label In addition to the signature on the bottom, the piece still has both of its original labels as well. In Murano glass work, fine gold dust inside the glass is called gold polveri. Perhaps this term was dropped by Marcolin due to the inclusions being more notable gold flecks rather than gold dust. Located in Warrenton, OR
MCM Kinetic Astrolite Lucite Fishes Sculpture by Ritts This fantasic kinetic two fish sculpture, which measures about 9.5 x 6.5 x 2.5 inches overall, is great for the MCM affcionado as well as the wildlife lover. The fish can be separated as well, as the rod connecting them is not attached but easily is removable. Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Light scratches, and some blemishes/spots that could probably be alleviated by proper lucite cleaning/polishing techniques. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOLLOWS; PLEASE READ THE BELOW IN ITS ENTIRETY. Vintage Clear Lucite Whale Functional Sculpture for Desktop or Vanity by Ritts
By Herb Ritts, 1952-2002
Located in Warrenton, OR
Vintage Clear Lucite Whale Functional Sculpture for Desktop or Vanity by Ritts Astrolite. Perfect for the MCM affcionado who likes art and whales but whose space needs reqyure function as well, this lucite sculpture is made to hold pens or make-up brushes and look good doing it. (There is also a slit for the mouth for holding mail, cards, notes, etc.) The sculpture measures approximately 8.5 x 3.75 x 2.25 inches. Fairly good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. As is typical with these, there are visible scratches. There are also blemishes (for example, the underside appears to show evidence of a previous label) that could probably be alleviated by proper lucite cleaning/polishing techniques. Priced accordingly. Of course, the pen and brush are just for demo and will not come with the sculpture. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOLLOWS; PLEASE READ THE BELOW IN ITS ENTIRETY.
