MOSCHINO COUTURE! Multi-Coloured Hand-Decorated Silk Bomber Jacket, S/S 1991

About the Item

Early Moschino pieces designed by Franco Moschino himself – often referred to as Italian fashion's "enfant terrible" – within the short period when he launched the House of Moschino in 1983 until he passed away in 1994 are sought after and highly collectible. This treasure, like several others that will be listed gradually comes direct from a German socialite and fashion collector so has not been on the market prior to this. This exceptional and rare Spring/Summer 1991 Moschino Couture bomber jacket looks like a couture studio to go and captures the fun vibe that Moschino has always represented as a brand. The black silk chiffon bomber jacket is elaborately decorated with pieces of silk chiffon, measuring tapes, zip fasteners and satin bows of various vibrant colours. It features a black ribbed collar, a central front two-way zip fastening that runs around the neckline with a black silk tassel at the slider, long sleeves with black ribbed cuffs and a black ribbed hem. The jacket has two working black silk satin side flap pockets that close with press buttons and is completely lined in black silk chiffon. It is labeled "Moschino Couture!
