The body of each tureen is encompassed with an applied girdle above a contemporary bright cut engraved coat of arms displaying an escutcheon party per pale of a cross engrailed and a lion rampant, encompassed with fabric swaps and suspended tassels. The rim of each antique tureen is encompassed with an applied gadroon decorated border. These impressive sterling silver Georgian tureens retain the original hallmarked push fit covers, surmounted with an impressive reed decorated handle enveloped with chased decorated leaf designs to the terminals. The surface of each cover is ornamented with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting an armoured knight armed mounted on a horse salient holding in his dexter hand a sword above his head. Each tureen is fitted with two loop handles embellished with a chased decorated leaf design to the lower portion. An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver cafe au lait set in the George II style; an addition to our collectable teaware collection. This exceptional antique George V sterling silver cafe au lait set consists of a coffee pot and hot milk jug. Each piece of this cafe au lait set has a plain baluster shaped form to three feet, all in the early George II style. The surface of each piece is plain and unembellished, accented with an applied moulded border to the upper rim. Each piece is fitted with the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted by an impressive cast silver pineapple finial; each cover retains the original hallmarked, detachable hinge pin. Both the milk jug and coffee pot retains the original opposing scroll carved wood handle, fitted to cast and applied scrolling sockets. The coffee pot features an exceptional cast silver swan necked spout ornamented with an undulating socket, the sparrow beak spout to the milk jug is ornamented with a decorative leaf formation to the nadir. Each piece is supported by three impressive cast sterling silver feet ornamented with a scrolling foot to a shell design in junction with the body. Condition This antique sterling silver cafe au lait set is a superior gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. The interior of the each piece has been professionally cleaned and is ready for use. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of each piece and part hallmarks to the sleeve of each cover, in addition to the hinge pins, are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the superior gauge of silver. The body of this impressive antique silver jug is embellished with an impressive engraved scrolling leaf bodered coat of arms depicting on a fess three five-pinted stars between three griffens' heads erased. This impressive example of Georgian silverware is fitted with a cast sterling silver S scroll handle ornamented with an impressive scrolling leaf thumbpiece and bifurcating lower scrolling terminal. The cast beak style spout of the jug is embellished with a vase-shaped moulding to the nadir. The circular spreading foot is embellished with bands of tooled decoration. Note: The London Assay Office have missing records in the Smallworkers' Register (1739-1758) and Largeworkers' Register (1758-1773), and it can be determined that this maker's mark was registered within this timeframe. This exceptional antique Georgian sterling silver candle snuffer tray has a navette shaped form. The surface of this antique silver snuffer/pen tray is ornamented with a contemporary bright cut engraved crest depicting a centaur regardant holding and arrow on a bended bow, above the bright cut engraved initials 'WIL'. The outer circumference of the surface is encompassed with an undulating wriggle work decorated border. The raised rounded sides of the tray are embellished with pierced decorated urn designs conjoined by suspended bright cut engraved festoon ornamentation further accented with undulating pin struck decoration. The tray is further embellished with an applied bead decorated border to the rim. Either end of the tray incorporates an impressive pierced and applied scrolling leaf decorated handle accented with a pendant drop design to the inner surface. This exceptional tray was crafted by the London silversmith William Plummer who is known for his work with pierced decoration. This fine antique Victorian sterling silver Chamberstick (chamber candlestick) has a plain circular form in the George I style. The well is plain and unembellished, encompassed with a plain elevated border. The plain cylindrical capital retains the original detachable hallmarked sconce ornamented with a plain applied moulded border. This antique chamberstick is fitted with a stylized Trefid pattern handle, embellished with two contemporary bright cut engraved crests of a squirrel sejant eating a nut to the right of an elephant and castle. A fine pair of vintage Elizabeth II English sterling silver two-light candelabra in the George I style; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. These fine vintage Elizabeth II sterling silver candelabra have a plain circular form, in the George I style. Each impressive two-light candelabrum retains the original hallmarked detachable push fit scrolling arms, which support two rounded waisted capitals with plain circular dished drip pans. These versatile vintage candelabra can be used as candlesticks once the arms (labra) are detached. The knopped stems are surmounted on sunken wells, to tooled decorated circular spreading bases. The filled bases retain the original leatherette covering to the underside. The base of each was made by Richard Comyns of William Comyns & Sons Ltd and the labra were crafted by William Bruford & Son; these items will have been crafted in the same year but due to the hallmarking system the bases are struck with the date letter 'd' and the labra bear 'e'.
