For the first time, Gebrüder Thonet Vienna in fact shift the focus from the 1800s to the ‘30s of last century, a particularly intense period under architectural and artistic side which has seen its success in Art Decò, known in Vienna as Jugendstil.Sölden is, therefore, a chair where bent wood takes on a more contemporary character thanks to the square section and shapes that echo the typical clean design of the Bauhaus period. Much like the thrones of fairy tales and the regency, elegant lounges crafted in the Louis XV style convey wealth and prestige. In the kitchen, the dining chair placed at the head of the table is typically reserved for the head of the household or a revered guest.
