Kiko Chair by Sergio Rodrigues

About the Item

Sergio Rodrigues is a world-renowned furniture designer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, who originated 1,200 designs, half of which were actually produced. His works are popular not only in Brazil, but also in Europe, the United States, Japan, and other countries around the world. He founded the furniture manufacturer "Oca" in Rio de Janeiro in 1955. He created many designs that combined different materials, such as leather, fabric, rattan, and metal, with a preference for solid wood. Later, his furniture was housed in the Government Building of Brasilia, a World Heritage Site.

Combined with the development of industry that could reproduce streamlined forms reminiscent of the near future, he produced many products with an identity different from that of other designers.
