About the Item

Attention Collectors! This architecturally captivating swivel chair designed by the acclaimed Norman Cherner is ideal for those searching for authentic Plycraft pieces from the early 60's. Constructed of walnut intricately bent in fabulous curvy shells, upholstered in its original cream colored vinyl and set atop a set of audaciously designed curved legs this chair is absolutely stunning to behold. It is in original, vintage condition and sure to make a BOLD statement in any space. Able to swivel 360 degrees, they're also extremely functional as well as beautiful. This would make a great office or task chair. Although best known for his furniture design, Norman Cherner's work included almost all aspects of design: from graphics, glassware and lighting, to his pioneering work in prefabricated housing.
