Finn Juhl Ottoman for France & Son, Denmark 1950

About the Item

A fantastic ottoman by iconic designer Finn Juhl and manufactured by France & Son in Denmark in the 1950s. This elegant stool is made of high quality teak wood in a warm brown color. The gently curved details of the frame add a wonderful sense of elegance! The same curved finish can be seen to the black leather upholstered top, which adds not only to it’s style but also the comfort. It’s a highly recognizable find of Scandinavian mid-century design by one of the most important designers of the era. A great addition to the interior that can be used separately, or combined with a lounge chair for adding comfort and appeal. It remains in very good condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
