Antique 19th Century English Regency Mahogany Occasional Table

$3,000

About

A beautiful English occasional or side table with a solid mahogany top that stands op a turned central baluster shaped column. The central column ends in a quadriform platform with scrolled feet. The platform base is made in solid oak, with mahogany veneer. The apron underneath the top shows a faux drawer flanked by acanthus and C-scroll motifs. The table has a warm dark color with a distinctive grain pattern of mahogany. Condition details: The table has been repaired in our workshop. Minor repairs to the veneer of the platform base were done. The joint between the column and the top was fixed and the whole pieces were gently cleaned and a new protective wax layer was applied. The table is in very good and solid antique condition.
