Kelly Wearstler moves to her own beat, in life and in decorating. Clients seek her out for the beautiful harmonies of her singular design compositions, like this dining area in a West Hollywood bungalow.
The space centers on a unique table surrounded by mismatched dining chairs from Saporiti Italia (the quartet in black are via 1stDibs) under a Wearstler designed iron chandelier.
The black-and-white ceramic at left, its color scheme mimicking the table, is an important Chalice vase by Ettore Sottsass, whose work Wearstler revers. The same is true for many of the artists she commissions. As she puts it, “every piece is truly special.”
