It is the first time that Jan Keustermans and his family offer a selection of sculptures, directly from the artist’s atelier.
Jan Alfons Keustermans (°1940) is a Belgian sculptor, medalist and draftsman. He studied at the National Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Antwerp and until 2000 he was director of the Municipal Academy of Fine Arts in Turnhout.
He has won several art prizes for sculpture and participated in group exhibitions in Belgium and abroad.
He has created more than 850 works. In 1994, he won the Ministry of Finance’s competition for a portrait of King Albert II on the Belgian currency. In 1997 he designed a similar version for the euro coin.
Keustermans’ work evolved from figurative to completely abstract. He describes the abstract works as ‘memorial...

Entitled "Rhythm", this abstract sculpture was made by Japanese bamboo artist Honda Syoryu (Japanese, born 1951) in 2005. The free vertical form defies the limit of the traditional material bamboo as a rigid medium, and instead displays a nearly impossibly fluidity. Rooted in ages of tradition of Japanese basket weaving, the artist managed to break that ikebana tradition using bending and twisting techniques to create a pure sculptural work.
The work is a testament of how traditional craft can be reinvented into modern art form. Signed with carved signature "Syoryu" underneath.
The sculpture is displayed on a custom-made stand and can be appreciated from all angles. It comes with its original box and cloth, with label and Japanese inscription as shown.

This figure is named M.I.C.H.A.E.L. and is among the largest figures, 14 inch, that Michael has ever produced. The body and frame is based on the S.F.L.M.F. figures.

This massive 16"-er tall rotocast vinyl bust has been sold out in a flash and is not for sale anywhere else. Bust has never been exposed and always kept in its original box. Measurements: H.36 x W.24 x D.20 cm. Frank Kozik was born in Madrid, Spain. At the age of 14 he moved to the United States and settled in Austin, Texas. Credited with single handedly reviving the “lost” art of the concert poster, Frank’s creative career grew largely out of his enthusiasm for Austin’s growing underground rock scene in the mid-eighties. Starting with black and white flyers for friends’ bands posted on telephone poles, his reputation grew as an artist whose work was arresting as well as gripping. Kozik has done over 60 gallery shows worldwide, with multiple exhibits in Tokyo and London. Kozik has done graphic design for dozens of major companies such as NIKE, BASF and Gatorade. He also directed music videos for Soundgarden and Mint Condition. Kozik is currently based in San Francisco, California, where he produces artwork and graphics, and formerly managed his own record label, Man’s Ruin as well as Rise Records. His work is well known to devotees of album-cover art and concert flyer art. He has produced artwork for musicians such as Pearl Jam,Nirvana, Soundgarden, Nine Inch Nails, Neil Young, Sonic Youth, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jane’s Addiction, Ice T, George Clinton, Green Day, Beck, The Offspring, The Melvins and many more. Urban Vinyl, Vinyl Art also called Designer Toys are created by an artist or designer working with a production company, or solely, to produce a limited run of a collectible 3D figure in one or more colour variants. It all started when in the 1990's Hong Kong based artist Michael Lau showed up at a Hong Kong toy show with customized GI Joe figures, that had been reworked into urban hip hop characters, wearing cool streetwear labels and accessories. This ignited a trend that first spread from Hong Kong and Japan, and was initially known as Urban Vinyl, but now the more accepted term is Designer Toys, which is more encompassing.
