This very rare example is modelled to simulate an acorn and is decorated with reeded and beaded bands to simulate the shape of an acorn. The cover unscrews to reveal the removable steel grater and this piece is in excellent condition, with a good colour. The cover is very well marked with SM for Samuel Meriton and this is the manner in which acorn nutmeg graters are unusually marked, with the maker's mark only. An 18th century Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose Mandarin 3-Piece vase Garniture Set. A status symbol between the 17th and 19th centuries, most garniture sets have by now been damaged or broken up with the individual pieces sold off. Few complete sets now exist, and even fewer survive in their original state, which makes this beautifully painted set of three Chinese Porcelain Famille Rose vases so much more special. With mandarin orange and gilt unusually bold and swooping dragon handles, each delicately decorated vase is completed with a lid seating a gloriously pompous foo dog. The bodies are decorated with hand painted famille rose flowerpot cartouches, as well as, chirping birds, and banded flowers and vines.

Late Baroque pottery jug made and decorated with high temperature glazes over a white slip of tin. These motifs are combined with enameled decorations in relief obtained mold. The typology of the piece combines Italian jug with handle ovoid belly and vertical bow, with the peak jug typically Spanish, characterized by the outgoing peak of the mouth. Decorations reveal the oriental influence, with large floral bouquets arranged asymmetrically and complex landscapes with architecture and palm trees, which remove some figures, such as totally Western. The reasons appear pincelados in manganese black, and colored with ocher, blue, green and red, mainly enamels. Aragon ceramic least a century old will be characterized by a strong own, combined with the influences of personality Talavera and Catalonia. You will have three main centers: Teruel, Muel and Villafeliche, the first two with tradition since the 16th century, and the third created in the late 17th century. A stunning Italian gilt copper ewer dating back to 18th century with a circular body featuring a quadripartite decoration defined by the repoussé of a double vertical ribbed frame that frames tableaux decorated with floral scrolls; the background of these sections is finely dotted by chisel tool to underline a very pleasant relief to the embossed parts thanks to the burnishing.
An excellent and unique hand-made pitcher, selected in a private collection of Northern Italy.
This rare golden jug was created to serve wine during the Eucharistic celebration, the Christian liturgical practice. it is an Italian work of art that dates back to 1700, with a wonderful fire gilding, for collectors. In good age related condition regardless of a small dent in the middle part of the body, consistent with the eighteenth-century dating.
The cast handle takes up the motif of the volutes present on the body of the ewer. The spout is closed by a hinged lid with a small floral knob, with minimal deformations near the hinge compromising its perfect closure.

This is a very beautifully hand painted Chinese porcelain blue and white Dish or Deep Plate from the 18th Century Qing Dynasty, possibly back to the Kangxi period ( 1662-1722).
This is a well potted dish with a very neatly cut foot rim and a white glaze having a blue tinge.
The plate is well hand painted, front and back, in a free flowing style, characteristic of the period, in varying shades of a clear cobalt blue, from the very dark to the very light blue.
