About the Item

The iconic LCW (Lounge Chair Wood) design has earned its place in the most important private and public collections the world over and for good reason. Using technology they developed during WWII, Charles and Ray Eames designed the first chair made of plywood with compound curves, that were beautiful, well made, comfortable and affordable. Chair is in nice original vintage condition. retains its original finish , patina,, walnut veneer and the single oval rubber shock mount on the seat back.minor bumps and bruises.(see photos) Early chairs in this condition are becoming increasingly harder to find.
