Very Rare Pair of Early “Fiorenza” Chairs by Franco Albini for Arflex, Italy 195

About the Item

This is a very rare pair of early model “Fiorenza” chairs. An iconic design by Franco Albini, manufactured by Arflex in Italy in 1956. This is a version is designed without the crossed legs that the first edition from 1952 had. Extremely rare and absolutely beutiful! The elegant curves of the wooden frame contrast nicely to the light fabric of the seat, back and armrests. This all gives the piece a beautiful luxurious style and impressive seating comort. Designed with a truly fantastic eye for detail. The set remains in very good, vintage condition with only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
