Squarcio Aluminum Bronze Sculpture
Located in Milan, IT
Stunning its simplicity, this sublime wall panel will infuse any decor with elegance and Minimalist sophistication. Crafted entirely of aluminum with a Hawaiian black...

Original Space Artist Andreas Nottebohm Acrylic on Aluminum Painting KNM 1387
Located in Tustin, CA
Visionary, abstract original acrylic on aluminum painting by famous NASA Space Artist, Andreas Nottebohn, titled "KNM 1387" depicts a colorful, otherworldly scene on a shimmering sheet of scored metal. This incredible celestial painting frees the viewer from a one dimensional perspective by suggesting a vast and mysterious distance. Information on the back of the painting states, “KNM 1387 Spec 1 of 48 similar original paintings 1996 30 x 24 Acrylic on Aluminum”. Hand signed by the artist in the lower left corner. Very nicely custom framed in a transitional style black frame with wide silver inner lining. Framed, the painting measures approximately 35" high x 29" wide x 2" deep. Unframed painting measures approximately 30" high x 24" wide. One of the key innovators of metal painting, Nottebohm creates what might be called sculptures on a flat plane. By removing microscopic layers from the metal surface, he transforms the material into patterns of shimmering light. The unusual luminous quality of Nottebohm's work comes from the aluminum surfaces he scores, using a variety of manual and machine tools. Aluminum can create light and movement that you cannot create with anything else. It is similar to the sun reflecting on water, and you see one painting from one side and another painting from another side. East German born (1944) Andreas Nottebohm moved to Munich as a teenager and immigrated to the San Francisco Bay area of the United States in 1979, after touring the U.S. for a one man exhibition. While in Germany in the 1970s, he was one of the co-founders of the Society for Art and Science in Munich. Around the time he relocated to the United States, he was invited to participate in the NASA Art...

Carmen Mitrotta Call to Faith Photo Limited Edition
Located in Milan, Italy
The feeling of photography is very similar to that of a painting. The print is made on hahnemuhle cotton paper and then mounted on aluminum. Limited edition of 3 copies. Number 2. The photo can be sold with or without a frame. Call to Faith “This project was inspired by watching a group of Muslim teenagers playing in a park. I was attracted not only by their outfit which was so different in comparison to Italian teenagers, but also by the way they played with their appearance and style comparable to any other teenager. I asked myself: how can a solid religious tradition exist in our fast moving lifestyle? I wanted to describe this integration creating a photo series using the image language of a fashion photo shoot. “Call to faith” shows a teenager who remains closely tied to its belief and tradition and - at the same time - playing with contemporary fashion and style. The object of the “veil”, both metaphysical and real, separates individual beings from knowledge and perception of reality, therefore becoming an obstacle between different cultures. In my work, I try to give the veil a new connotation: by chosing strong colors and a transparant tissue, I give the traditional veil a pop connotation. It symbolizes now the connection between different worlds and cultures.” Biography Exihibitions Group Exihibition • unseen, Art Fair ,Amsterda • 2016 Photo London, Art Fair London, UK • 2016 Art Paris , Art Fair Paris , France • 2015 Kunst 15, Art Fair Zurich, Switzerland • 2015 “Dritte Runde”, Bildhalle, Kilchberg/Zurich • 2015 Photo Basel, Basel, Switzerland, • 2015 MIA Art Fair, Milan • In 2014 “Death food for new worlds” : Gran Sasso Science Institute (Aquila), Photo Gallery (Pistoia), L’impronta (Cosenza), Sala Fenice (Trieste), Camera Doppia (Torino),VisionQuest (Genova), Polifemo Fotografia(Milan), Archivio Fotografico Italiano (GorlaMaggiore), Massenzio Arte (Rome) • 2013 Museo di arte contemporanea, Lissone • 2013 “Premiato studio Promessi sposi”, Spazio Tadini, Milan • 2013 “My generation is different”, Palazzo del Broletto, Pavia Solo Exihibion 2014 “Pezzi da Museo” a cura di Roberto Mutti, Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Milano 2015 “ ...A volte esco di casa con il cielo sotto braccio “ Gallerie Foto-Forum , Bolzano-Bozen 2015 “Dead food for new worlds” , Palazzo Leone da Perego , Legnano 2015 “Dead food for new worlds” , Galleria Bolzani , Milano 2017 Boutique Hermes...

Carmen Mitrotta Dead Food for New World Photo Nr. 15
Located in Milan, Italy
The feeling of photography is very similar to that of a painting. The print is made on hahnemuhle cotton paper and then mounted on aluminum. The photo can be sold with or without a frame. Dead food for new worlds “What will we eat in the future? More precisely: what kind of food products will we eat? It is an interesting question that, although we would like to know, we are incapable of answering. I found my own answer using the enigmatic nature of my still lifes, which allows an open interpretation and creates an ideal dialogue between present and future. This project was inspired by the painting “Basket of fruit” of Caravaggio. My work in contrast does not include the fruit as trophies. They are no bloodless objects destined for the kitchen, more than this they are part of a designed space - minimal spaces. These spaces compose the products on the table and show a new culinary sensorial experimentation: plastic, dry, alien food. The visual pleasure is more important than its taste. In an imaginary menu, I propose food with unusual combinations, a plunge into an aseptic environment, surrounded by delicate pastel colours. What catches the eye is the formal precision and attention to colour.” Biography Exhibitions Group Exhibition • unseen, Art Fair, Amsterdam • 2016 Photo London, Art Fair London, UK • 2016 Art Paris , Art Fair Paris , France • 2015 Kunst 15, Art Fair Zurich, Switzerland • 2015 “Dritte Runde”, Bildhalle, Kilchberg/Zurich • 2015 Photo Basel, Basel, Switzerland, • 2015 MIA Art Fair, Milan • In 2014 “Death food for new worlds” : Gran Sasso Science Institute (Aquila), Photo Gallery (Pistoia), L’impronta (Cosenza), Sala Fenice (Trieste), Camera Doppia (Torino),VisionQuest (Genova), Polifemo Fotografia(Milan), Archivio Fotografico Italiano (GorlaMaggiore), Massenzio Arte (Rome) • 2013 Museo di arte contemporanea, Lissone • 2013 “Premiato studio Promessi sposi”, Spazio Tadini, Milan • 2013 “My generation is different”, Palazzo del Broletto, Pavia Solo Exhibition 2014 “Pezzi da Museo” a cura di Roberto Mutti, Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Milano 2015 “ ...A volte esco di casa con il cielo sotto braccio “ Gallerie Foto-Forum , Bolzano-Bozen 2015 “Dead food for new worlds” , Palazzo Leone da Perego , Legnano 2015 “Dead food for new worlds” , Galleria Bolzani , Milano 2017 Boutique...

In an imaginary menu, I propose food with unusual combinations, a plunge into an aseptic environment, surrounded by delicate pastel colors. What catches the eye is the formal precision and attention to color.” Biography Exhibitions Group Exhibition • unseen, Art Fair, Amsterdam • 2016 Photo London, Art Fair London, UK • 2016 Art Paris , Art Fair Paris, France • 2015 Kunst 15, Art Fair Zurich, Switzerland • 2015 “Dritte Runde”, Bildhalle, Kilchberg/Zurich • 2015 Photo Basel, Basel, Switzerland, • 2015 MIA Art Fair, Milan • In 2014 “Death food for new worlds”: Gran Sasso Science Institute (Aquila), Photo Gallery (Pistoia), L’impronta (Cosenza), Sala Fenice (Trieste), Camera Doppia (Torino),VisionQuest (Genova), Polifemo Fotografia(Milan), Archivio Fotografico Italiano (GorlaMaggiore), Massenzio Arte (Rome) • 2013 Museo di arte contemporanea, Lissone • 2013 “Premiato studio Promessi sposi”, Spazio Tadini, Milan • 2013 “My generation is different”, Palazzo del Broletto, Pavia Solo exhibition 2014 “Pezzi da Museo” a cura di Roberto Mutti, Museo Bagatti Valsecchi, Milano 2015 “ A volte esco di casa con il cielo sotto braccio “ Gallerie Foto-Forum, Bolzano-Bozen 2015 “Dead food for new worlds”, Palazzo Leone da Perego, Legnano 2015 “Dead food for new worlds”, Galleria Bolzani, Milano 2017 Boutique Hermes...
