A large part of what makes this example so very rare is not just the age and condition, but the saint depicted, San Roque.
The Hispano-Philippine (Spanish-Filipinos) hand carved hard wood religious altar figure presents splendidly, with scattered remnants of original gesso and polychrome pigments, the exceptionally sculpted religious folk art depicting San Roque (Saint Roch or Rocco), the 14th century Catholic patron saint frequently invoked against the plaque, various infectious disease, as well as patron saint of dogs, invalids, of falsely accused people, and of bachelors, amongst others.
Provenance / Acquisition:
Retaining registration - identification label to verso from The Republic of the Philippines (RP) National Museum of the Philippines Manila with hand written registration number.
Acquired from highly reputable auction house, Austin Auction Gallery, est. 1982, Austin, Texas. February 2022 catalog.

Great original antique condition, especially considering it's around 350 years old. Nicely aged patina over the whole. Presented on a later wood plinth base. Typical loss to right arm, minor finish losses, old tiny metal plate added to prevent age related splitting, all wear consistent with age, and only adds to the overall sophisticated character, authenticity, and charming rustic warmth that can only be acquired over long periods of time.

A pair of Southwest style "Lone Star" side table / end cabinets / nightstands, by high quality Spanish Colonial / Western style luxury furniture designer Jorge Kurczyn, Hacienda Santa Klara.
This hand-crafted contemporary end table combines full grain damask patterned leather upholstered front, exquisite hand tooled copper designs, and rich hand carving.
The beautifully, finished top of this custom end table is adorned with geometrical hand carving running ornamentation around its rim. Directly below the top of the end table is a large rectangular drawer adorned with rich, brown, full grain leather. Centered in the drawer is a hand forged handle made by skilled craftsmen.
This custom end table features two arched, cabinet doors opening to reveal generous storage and shelf for additional storage options. Each cabinet door panel is adorned with a hand hammered and hand tooled copper Lone Star, surrounded by hand tooled, copper, floral designs. Each cabinet door has a hand forged, pull handle.

Desktop telephone model AC 110 (Old catalogue No. 375) made by L. M. Ericsson, Stockholm in period of 1895-1910. A legendary model that enjoys special attention from collectors.
Size app.: 30 cm (roughly 11.8 in) high, 27 cm (roughly 10.6 in) wide, 14 cm (roughly 5.5 in) deep. Quite good condition, age and usage wear, attritions, damages, losses of 2 feet out of 4, original finish! Please study high-res pictures for cosmetic condition! In person actual item may appear darker or brighter than in our pictures, strictly depending on sufficient light in your environment. Lars Magnus Ericsson began his association with telephones in his youth as an instrument maker. He worked for a firm which made telegraph equipment for the Swedish government agency Telegrafverket. In 1876, aged 30, he started a telegraph repair shop with help from his friend Carl Johan Andersson. The shop was in central Stockholm (No. 15 on Drottninggatan, the principal shopping street) and repaired foreign-made telephones. In 1878 Ericsson began making and selling his own telephone equipment. His phones were not technically innovative, as most of the inventions had already been made in the US. In 1878, he made an agreement to supply telephones and switchboards to Sweden's first telecom operating company, Stockholms Allmänna Telefonaktiebolag. Also in 1878, local telephone importer Numa Peterson hired Ericsson to adjust some telephones from the Bell Telephone Company. This inspired him to buy a number of Siemens telephones...
