About the Item

Listed for sale is an original 1960s Marcel Breuer for Isokon chaise lounge chair. This example has just been masterfully reupholstered by Forthright NYC, a noteworthy upholstery shop in NY and CT. They fully reupholstered this piece in new Knoll Textiles upholstery. The upholstery is a white or slight off-white and has terrific hand feel. This is a lovely example of the Breuer chaise. There may be some wear to the wood frame from use. See photos. There is some veneer loss, as is fairly typical for these pieces. If desired, we can have the veneer repaired prior to shipping by the skilled woodworker we work with. The construction is formed from bentwood and molded plywood. It measures 56 inches long by 30 inches wide and 26 inches tall.
