The art work is in excellent condition with great details and beautiful pastel colors; it is set in a splendid and elegant gold leaf frame with floral and leaf motifs in high relief. Artist listed in the Benezit. The canvas has been relined. Frans Lebret (1820-1909) was born in Dordrecht and was known for his Dutch landscapes mainly with sheep.
