It is signed and numbered 133/350. The artwork (Image) Size is 16 x 16 inches, framed size is 25.75 x 25.25 inches. Custom framed in a wood veneer and black frame, with fabric matting. About the artist: Michael Todd White (born October 10, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas) is a figurative expressionist painter.[1] He has also been described as an avant-garde expressionist. White was named the official artist for the Grammy Awards by the Recording Academy in 2007. His painting appeared on the ceremony's invitation and program book and served as the official image for the event. His work was featured in the Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Collection, an exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. The collection toured designated cities all over the world including Miami, Los Angeles, Dubai, Japan, London, Toronto and Vienna. In 2010, White was chosen to provide sketches for Coca-Cola Light in Mexico. White's six sketches are depicted on different faces of Coca-Cola Light bottles and cans, each featuring his distinctive box signature. This was the first time that Coke had collaborated with a fine artist to depict artwork for its label. The bottles were released in August 2010.[5] As a result of some of these career achievements White has earned international recognition and a lengthy list of celebrity collectors. White's work hangs in a number of galleries in North America and he is currently one of the best selling artists in the United Kingdom. Some of White's most prominent exhibitions include a show at the Bank of Scotland in Manchester, England and at the unveiling of The World's Largest Todd White Collection, hosted by CNN's Larry King at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California. Todd White's work was featured in the opening of Clarendon Fine Art Gallery in Hampstead, London alongside that of leading British contemporary artists Sherree Valentine-Daines and Christian Hook.

Untitled, Two Horsemen
By Tomikichiro Tokuriki
Located in San Francisco, CA
This artwork "Two Horsemen" c.1960 is an original woodcut by noted Japanese artist, Tomikichiro Tokuriki, 1902-1999. It is hand signed and numbered 38/100 in pencil by the artist. The image (Block mark) size is 15.25 x 20.5 inches, sheet size is 16.5 x 21.15 inches. It is in very good condition, hanging tape remaining on the back. About the artist: Print artist. Tokuriki was born in Kyoto, where he has always worked. The last of a long line of traditional-style painters, he turned early to woodblock prints and became a leader of the Kyoto 'Sosaku Hanga'. He graduated from the Kyoto City School of Fine Arts and Crafts and then from the Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting in 1924. In 1928 he studied 'Nihonga' painting under Tsuchida Bakusen (1887-1936) and Yamamoto Shunkyo (1871-1933) and exhibited with Kokuga Sosaku Kyokai, but about the same time in 1929 he changed to woodblock printing under the influence of Hiratsuka Un'ichi and began to contribute to the early print magazine 'Han'. He was a member of Nihon Hanga Kyokai from 1932, and active in promoting 'Sosaku Hanga' in Kyoto. He was a co-founder of the Kyoto magazine 'Taishu hanga' in 1932, which helped create the sense of a local school of the Creative Print Movement much encouraged by Hiratsuka. He produced many sets of prints before and during the Pacific War based on traditional subjects, such as 'Shin Kyoto fukei' ('New View of Kyoto', 1933-4), which also included designs by Asada Benji (q.v.) and Asano Takeji (b.1900), and 'Tokyo hakkei' ('Eight Views of Tokyo', 1942). Most of these were published by Uchida of Kyoto, but after the war Tokuriki set up his own publishing company called Matsukyu, which also began to teach block-carving to artisans and artists, in later years many of them foreigners. In 1948 he also set up a sub-company called Koryokusha consisting of artists who would produce their prints under the financial umbrella of Matsukyu. Later sets include 'Hanga Kyoto hyakkei' ('One Hundred Print Views of Kyoto', 1975). Tokuriki has continued to be active in teaching and writing, producing a long series of articles on print techniques in 'Hanga geijutsu' magazine during the 1970s. "Color and Black" Large colors etching with aquatint, framed
By Sol LeWitt
Located in San Francisco, CA
This artwork titled "Color and Black #3" 1991 is a colors etching with spit bit aquatint on Somerset textured white paper by renown artist Sol (Solomon) Le Witt, 1928-2007. It is and signed and numbered 11/15 in pencil by the artist. Whit the blind stamp of the publisher/printer at the lower right corner. The image size is 22.75 x 22.75 inches, paper sheet is 40.75 x 39.75 inches, Framed size is 43.25 x 42,5 inches. Published by Crown Point Press, San Francisco. Printed by Lawrence Hamin, Lothar Osterburg, Paul Mullowney and Pamela Paulson at Crown Point Press, San Francisco. Referenced and pictured in the artist's catalogue raisonne #1991.07, plate #03. Custom Framed in a wooden black frame, floated on a white backing, with white spacer. It is in excellent condition. About the artist: Known for his modular white cube sculpture, geometric drawings and abstract design paintings including many wall paintings that took teams of people to execute, Sol LeWitt was a major promoter of dominant post World War II Conceptualism and Minimalism. He used geometric shapes and lines to challenge his viewers, and sometimes they seemed logical and other times they seemed to have no basis in either reason or reality. Although he was highly active in New York City, he shied away from any semblance of art celebrity life style and spent much of his later life working from his home and studio in Chester, Connecticut. At the beginning of his career when he was gaining notoriety, conservative critics panned him fiercely. Seeking to get away from the frenetic activity of the New York art scene, he went to Spoleto, Italy in the 1980s and remained there for many years. The influence of Italian culture seemed to lend a new opulent quality to his work, and also the launching of his wall paintings, which he called drawings even though they were done with acrylic paint. "He began making colored flagstone patterns, spiky sculptural blobs and ribbons of color, like streamers on New Year's Eve, often as enormous decorations for buildings around the world. It was if he had devised a latter-day kind of Abstract Expressionism . . ." (Kimmelman) Of his personal modesty it was written: "He tried to suppress all interest in him as opposed to his work; he turned down awards and was camera-shy and reluctant to grant interviews. He particularly disliked the prospect of having his photograph in the newspaper." (Kimmelman) Sol LeWitt was born in Hartford, Connecticut to Russian immigrant parents. His father, a doctor, died when Sol was age six, and he and his mother then went to live with an aunt in New Britain, Connecticut. His mother encouraged his art talent, and enrolled him in classes at the Wadsworth Atheneum. LeWitt's subsequent residence in Chester, after he was a well-known artist, was near the Atheneum, and he became a strong supporter of that institution including the securing of a long time loan to it of a highly prestigious private collection of modern art. LeWitt earned a B.F.A. degree from Syracuse University in 1949, and then was drafted in the Korean War. His special assignment was making posters for the Special Services. From 1955 to 1956, he worked as a graphic designer for architect I.M. Pei, who was beginning his career. He also did pasteups for Seventeen magazine...

Happy Sisters
By Ming Wai
Located in San Francisco, CA
This artwork Titled "Happy Sisters" 1977 in a color off set lithograph by renown Chinese/American artist Wai Ming A.K.A Lo Hing Kwok, b.1938. It is hand signed and inscribed A.P (Artist Proof) in pencil by the artist. The image size is 29 x 19 inches, sheet size is 36 x 25 inches. It is in excellent condition, the colors are fresh and bright, it has never been framed. About the artist: Wai Ming, was born in Canton, South China on November 11, 1938, the son of a school master with nine children. Extremely poor as a child, he was raised in Hong Kong enduring many hardships amidst a chaotic environment of war and refugee settlements. Wai Ming's love for art flourished and he developed his drawing techniques without any art education, just painting what he saw. In the 1960s, Ming found representation in Hong Kong and also took the unusual step of opening his own gallery to display his work in. His primary interest being to capture images of life in fishing villages, or 'fish-folk', who have retained traditional Chinese culture, his work was at home with the sensibilities of many art buyers in Hong Kong. Crossing the ocean in his mid-30s, Wai Ming arrived in San Francisco from Hong Kong in 1974. There, he experienced initial resistance from galleries and the official art world for a variety of reasons, but was ultimately embraced by dealer Jack Swanson...
