5.5 Carats Diamonds Platinum Brooch Unisex, 1930

About the Item

Magnificent and important 5.5 Carats Diamonds Platinum Brooch. Fine Diamonds with a total approximate weight of 5.5 Carats, G/H color, VS clarity. Probably the last hooray of the “roaring 20es” epoch. The work of the jeweler is just outstanding. First of all, platinum is a very hard material to work with. Then the shape of the brooch is so meticulously finished to resemble some underwater creature or flower. It might not have been intended to be a unisex item, but today stylish gents can certainly put it on a black suite or tuxedo. It has a double pin on the back, so it can be worn in any direction and on the pocket. A true future classic, its value will be sure to rise as time goes by. It is a perfect item both for a fine jewelry collection and to be worn for special occasions. This fine brooch demands a special outfit and a sense of occasion. Well worth a fine jewelry collection.
