About the Item

A Cartier Trinity bracelet made of 18k gold and round full cut diamonds. The piece consists of three interlocked bangle bracelets. The diamonds are four-prong set and run throughout the length of the bracelets. The slender bracelets are graceful and elegant, with the diamond embellishments adding a touch of luxury without overwhelming the design. They are perfectly balanced and tasteful, as a vintage French piece should be. The Trinity collection carries one of the most iconic looks in the world of fine jewelry. Its history dates to 1924 when the legendary French jewelry House first introduced this design. The concept behind the Trinity collection was originally developed by Louis Cartier, the grandson of Cartier's founder, Louis-François Cartier. The original design consists of three bands, where each color of gold represents a different type of love: yellow gold symbolizes friendship, white gold represents loyalty, and rose gold embodies love. The three rings are connected to create a sense of unity. For some Trinity pieces, such as these bracelets, only one color of gold was used, yet the three interlocking pieces still convey the same concept. This vintage Cartier Trinity bracelet is made of 18 karat yellow gold and set with round brilliant cut diamonds (F-G color, VS clarity, total weight approximately 5.0 carats). Each of the three Cartier Trinity bracelet rings measures 7 ¾” x 1/8” (19.7 x 0.4 cm). The Trinity bracelet fits up to 6” wrist. The vintage bracelet weighs 53.9 grams. It is stamped with Cartier workshop mark and maker's mark (worn out), French hallmarks for 18 karat gold. About Cartier Brand: Since 1847, Timeless Excellence has been Cartier’s second name. The brand’s story begins when Louis-François Cartier took over the workshop of his master, Adolphe Picard, in Paris. Initially, Cartier focused on creating high-quality jewelry and watches. His dedication to excellence and attention to detail quickly earned him a reputation among the elite clientele of Paris. Even higher quality standards of Cartier jewelry were set in 1902 by King George VII. That year Cartier made 27 tiaras for the coronation and was officially announced as the crown’s jewels seller. Since then, Cartier was proclaimed as “king of jewelry, the jeweler of kings.” The maker still lives up to this statement. The Cartier legacy endured through the generations, with each family member contributing to the brand's global success. However, in 1964, the Cartier family decided to sell the business. The company changed hands several times but continued to maintain its commitment to quality and innovation. Today, Cartier is part of the Richemont Group, a leading luxury goods conglomerate. Compared to other famous luxury jewelry brands, such as Van Cleef & Arpels or Tiffany & Co. who are working with precious stones a lot, Cartier is strictly focusing on diamonds and pieces made of different hues of gold. Over time Cartier created a great number of truly iconic pieces. From a classic Cartier Love bracelet to the famous Cartier Panthere collection and Cartier Trinity, without mentioning a wide variety of Cartier watches — you name it. But our hearts belong to the vintage Cartier jewelry. We appreciate the uniqueness and craftsmanship of our estate pieces. Each of them has a timeless character and tells the most fascinating stories. The exquisite quality of the Cartier pieces is unquestionable. The Maison continuously keeps creativity, innovative spirit and loyalty to traditions running at the highest level possible. Whether you are purchasing a Cartier diamond ring or any other jewelry by Cartier, you are becoming an owner of a symbol of Timeless Excellence.

About Edwardian Jewelry: Edwardian jewelry design, common during the reign of King Edward VII of the United Kingdom (1901-1910), reflects the opulence and sophistication of the period. This era is known for its refined craftsmanship and influence of the cultural trends. One of the hallmarks of Edwardian jewelry is the extensive use of platinum. This metal enabled makers to create elaborate settings and allowed for the creation of light, lace-like patterns. That’s why pieces of the Edwardian era showcase filigree work, where fine wires of metal are twisted and shaped into delicate designs. The main motifs for Edwardian jewelry frequently drew inspiration from nature. Common themes included garlands, flowers, and leaves. These elements were often rendered in a romantic manner, reflecting the period's appreciation for natural beauty. Diamonds were the gemstone of choice during the Edwardian era, often used with platinum to enhance the sparkle and whiteness of the gems. Pearls were also highly favored, symbolizing purity and sophistication. These gemstones were commonly used in tiaras, necklaces, and brooches...

Cartier by Cipullo Love Bracelet
By Aldo Cipullo for Cartier
Located in Beverly Hills, CA
Being a symbol of commitment, a Love bracelet was designed as a minimalistic piece in 1969 and was bound to become iconic. The Cartier Love bracelet is supposed to be put on by someone who mutually loves you. Two screws on both sides hold the bracelet together to represent locked in feelings.  The gold Love bracelet looks very neat. It has a perfect width, it's shiny yet classic and elegant. It's a perfect Cartier bracelet that suits anyone's taste.  This particular Love bracelet is signed by Love bracelet designer Aldo Cipullo. It's from 1970s and that's why it has both signatures, the Cartier and Cipullo. This Love bracelet is size 19 (will fit up to 7" wrist). Comes with a screwdriver. About Aldo Cipullo Aldo Cipullo is mostly known as a creator of the famous Cartier Love bracelet. However, he designed several iconic pieces, and his talent was appreciated by David Webb and Tiffany & Co. His father was a costume jewelry maker, and Aldo worked as an apprentice at one of his workshops. But Cipullo’s ambition went further than Italy where he was born. After he turned 23, he moved to New York to study at The School of Visual Arts. In 1969 Aldo Cipullo started to work for Cartier, and his glorious journey began. Very soon after Cipullo came up with the idea of Cartier Love bracelet. The new design made a big splash in the jewelry world. It was a completely new perspective of the classic look. There is a story behind creating Love bracelet. It says Cipullo was heartbroken at that time after a failed love affair. He wanted to lock in his memories as it was all he had left. Being fascinated by industrial features of New York City and all things hardware, he drew his first draft of the bracelet. Another emblematic piece by Cipullo called Juste en Clou (Just a Nail) came up in 1971. The minimalist, wrapped around nail-looking gold bracelet was a great success. Today the yellow gold, rose gold and white gold Cartier Nail...
