Native American Navajo Rug in Eye Dazzler Pattern in ivory, burgundy, brown, gray and black colors from the SW United States from the early 1900s. This Navajo rug is in a geometric design consisting of three rows of different size diamond forms in beautiful natural earth tone colors. It has a very fine weave and it is in a wonderful condition. Navajo rugs are generally flat woven with wool for the body of the rug and usually cotton foundation. Navajo weavers use natural organic dyes that are available around their tribal land. The Navajo rugs have geometric designs and the design and symbols have religious and cultural meanings.
