Double-breasted suits are in style and are acceptable to wear anywhere that single-breasted suits are. That said, double-breasted suits are considered more formal than single-breasted ones, but that doesn't mean they're not in style. When worn in warmer months, double-breasted suits are a bit more bold than the typical single-breasted options.
